A machine is producing below its planned rate	Using a simple sensor a message is automatically sent via SMS alert for an operator or supervisor to attend and investigate (and the event history is logged).
A cool room is above temperature	An SMS alert is automatically sent to a repair technician to attend and investigate.  If the condition continues additional SMS alerts are sent, in order to escalate the response.
A security alarm has been set off	An SMS alert is automatically sent to an appropriate contact.
An emergency occurs in a mine	In this unlikely event an SMS message can be quickly and reliably sent to Site Managers, OH&S representatives and other key staff
A remotely located computer has gone down	An SMS automatically alerts a technician with a predefined response for the technician to re-boot the computer remotely.
A driver is available for more work	A driver has reached his destination and is now available.  An SMS is automatically sent and the next job is assigned.
